Always an exciting time at Thrillerfest

Thrillerfest, held each July in New York City, is the premier event for most thriller writers. Lots of fun schmoozing with the top thriller/mystery writers of our day. I spent four days furiously taking notes. Sat on a panel about writer's quirks and superstions (not that I have any myself). Looking forward to next year. Hope to see you there

 

Santa Barbara Writer's Conference.

 

For the past ten years or so I've had the privilege of teaching the Pirate Workshop at SBWC. If you have a chance, please plan to attend next year. One of the premier writer's conferences in the county.
